I have a Treo BT headset (recent model). I use it with my G4 Powerbook (via DLink USB BT adapter). It plays music and the audio works with my XTen Eyebeam VOIP softphone. I would LOVE to be able to pick up/hang up calls using the headset button, like it does with the Treo. XTen tell me that the Mac currently does not support the handsfree BT profile, but have been unable to find anything about this on the web. Any BT experts out there know what would be involved in getting the handsfree profile onto the Mac?

You should be able to use the "Bluetooth Wizzard" from the bluetooth systray icon to configure the handsfree profile - assuming that the DLink adaptor supports it.

Thanks for the tip, Unfortunately I'm on a Mac - no such wizzard.Don't suppose you know of any such 3rd party tools on the Mac? Also XTen's support said that Windows laptops suffes from the same problem?
