I'm diggin' iTunes 5. Now if they would change all of their GUI stuff like that. I'm sorry, I just prefer it way more than the brushed metal look.

And the advantage of an iTunes / Motorola phone is???

You can unlock your music bought at the iTunes store using JHymm (http://www.hymn-project.org), that is, you can convert iTunes music from the protected .m4p format that only plays on authorized iTunes computers (up to your limit of 5) to the .mp3 format that will play on the Treo (or any other player for that matter.) If you want the look and feel of iTunes, there are several skins for PocketTunes that simulate iTunes.

I guess the advantage of the iTunes / Motorola phone is that you can buy and download the music directly to the phone, but you'll probably want the music on your desktop / laptop computer also, so downloading to the desktop / laptop, converting to .mp3 using JHymm and transferring those files to the Treo seems little or no additional effort.

    Or maybe I'm missing something?
