Every time I remove or edit a favorite button on my Treo 650 it changes back to the original button information when I sync my Treo with outlook. Is there a way or a place to reset these buttons so they don't revert back to the old information duing my sync?

This sounds like an impolite application rather than a hotsync problem. What application are you trying to assign, and what application is taking over the button again?

Look at your Hotsync log: does it end with a series of apps being restored instead of backed up? If so, then your Backup conduit's action is incorrectly set: right click the Hotsync Manager icon in your program tray, choose Custom and make the Default action of the Backup conduit, "Handheld overwrites desktop".
