I have an HBH 660 and it's worked fine for months. All of a sudden in the last few weeks, I have had a hard time getting it to turn on occasionally. I have to hold the button, plug in power, unplug it, then it would turn on, (or some other gymnastics.) Now today, I can't get it to turn on period. Has anyone else had this problem? I assume it's a standard 90 day warranty so if it's dead it's trash. Anyone know?
    Thanks!

My guess is there is a 1 year warranty on it through SE. Check their web site for more information.

I had a similar problem, couldn't figure it out. I tried everything to get it to turn on with no success. Fortunatley I bought mine from blue headset.com and they have a great warranty program and replaced it for me for $15.

What sort of charging regimen did you follow? The battery in the headset differs from the Treo's in that it loses capacity if it is charged before it has run low; using it briefly and immediately connecting it to the charger may eventually render it unable to hold a charge.

Sometimes I would run it low, then charge it, but a lot of the time I would lave it plugged in, make a few calls with it unplugged then plug it back in. Does this thing really have the same battery tech as a 90's cell phone? Are all the SE Bluetooth headsets like this? Any good ones that are not?

Yeah, I think that's pretty standard for headset batteries. I, like you, learned the hard way.
