Does anyone know of an app that will take overdue tasks and advance them to the current date?

    TIA.

Not aware of such an application. . . . . . . . I sort of consider the manual requirement "punishment" for not getting it done in the first place, plus, it keeps me in touch with what is on the list and how to re-prioritize it. . . .

    Hope you find one.

    Cheers, Perry.

There were a couple of apps that did this for the old ToDo database (at least one was free); right now I can only find ToDoRoll. Since the Treo 650 carries both the old and new databases, it may work for you.

I just remembered...The original app for this function was Plonk. It seems to be hard find now...it's pretty old. Here's a link to version 1.0b6 in the Yahoo Agendus_Users Group. Use with caution - I have no idea if it's compatible with OS 5 or not.

3rd party PIM software like Datebk5 will do floating tasks and advance the tasks like you asked for. And a whole lot more.

Yeah, I know. I did try DB5 back when I had a Clič. I thought it was overkill and it was cumbersome to use with outlook conduits. It had a lot of features that I'm sure many found useful, just not me. Maybe I should give another look.

I have been using more funtionality of the calendar with the new categories/color assignments and coupling that with "Schedule Care." I love it. I'm sure there are a gazillion posts about DB5, I'll lurk there. In the interval, I'll try the apps that Bill Gambe suggested (thanks).

    As an update:

I installed Plonk 1.0b6 and it appears to be running. Has an "autoplonk" feature to run at night. I'll try to keep an eye out for memory leaks/bugs an post them for further reference.

    Thanks all!

Plonk wouldn't "autoplonk" at midnight on my 650. Not sure why. I'm going to try ToDoRoll now. I'll keep everyone posted.

Scratch that. ToDoRoll does not support OS 5.0. I'm SOL I suppose
