I searched on "treo resets after hotsync" and found this advice below:

"PROBLEM 1: TREO RESETS AFTER HOTSYNC
This problem is not so bad, only annoying: the Treo would always reset itself after Hotsync. Using TreoCentral I found out that I was not the only person with the problem and the solution was given to while hunting through threads over 15 pages long. I therefore permit myself to repost it in the beginning of a thread:

The solution was to delete the contacts database and resync with desktop overwrites handheld. The file to delete is "ContactsSimDB-PAdd". The reset after Hotsync bug does not seem occur with the corruption of other databases, only when the contacts database is corrupt."

So, I did as suggested. Now I get an error in my synch log "Handheld Contacts application database version not supported." and agendus will not work at all, nor will my contacts synch from outlook.

Any idea on what I should do at this point?

Sounds like HotSync doesn't like not finding the Contacts DB (although, the database you mentioned isn't actually the main Contacts database). Try launching the contacts app on the Treo (if you've deleted the main database, this should recreate it), select Options/Preferences from the menu, check "Show PIM Phonebook" and tap OK - that should recreate the ContactsSimDB-PAdd database (you can go back in and uncheck it at this point). Now try HotSync again.
