I'm using the newest official Sprint ROM.

I made the mistake of taking (at least) 1 too many pictures last night. When I tried to exit the camera app, the Treo rebooted. And it hasn't stopped resetting ever since.

Both Palm logos appear. Then an error message pops up stating that 'The free data storage space on the device is very low. Delete application or data.' And then it reboots... again and again, etc.

I've tried removing the battery, the SD card, and pressing the reset button. But the endless loop won't end.

I'd like to save those pictures and the last contact I entered. Do I need to do a hard reset? Or is there another way. I heard that there is another kind of reset (the Zero Out?), but I'm not sure what it does or how it is done.

    Any ideas? Please?

You lose even more data with a Zero Out reset. Try a warm reset: while holding the 'up' portion of the dpad, perform a soft reset - when the Palm logo appears (black circle on grey background), release the 'up' button. If that doesn't help, a hard reset is next.

Thanks, Bill. I thought a 'soft reset' was what it was doing. So, I didn't even think to try your suggestion until you posted it. That did the trick, though. Thanks again.

You were doing a soft reset; I had you perform a warm reset. 'Glad it all worked out!

    Thanks a million Bill!!!!!!!!!!
Can an intelligence create another intelligence more intelligent than itself? Are we more intelligent than the evolutionary process that created us? In turn, will the intelligence that we are creating come to exceed that of its creator?

When Ive had this problem, I can get it to at least warm reset to the phone app, but upon exiting the phone app to the main launcher, I get another crash.
To overcome this, I created a shortcut within the phone app to my filemanager/destaller whatever program to free up some space.
