    Hello,

I have a program called Autosync on my Treo that checks for a docked Treo and hotsync's it every 30 minutes. The thing is, it gets annoying having Palm's Hotsync manager status window pop up each time. Is there a way to disable/hide this window and perhaps just make the system tray icon spin to indicate it's syncing?

    Thanks,
    Shahrum

That sounds like quite an oversight by the developer; Hotsync has always produced a status window. Short of hacking the desktop app, I know of no way of changing that behavior.

Check out what the developer sent me back:

It depends on your version of Windows. When hotsync is launched in Windows XP this does not happen. I think it happens with older versions of windows.

I don't know if there is a way to configure older vesions of windows. I was
never able to get it to stop until I upgraded to XP pro.
