Hi - I've seen Chatter reset the Palm when the circled X delete
button on an email is pressed or nearabouts to that time.

Is there some configuration option that can prevent this or
do I just have to grin and bear it?

There is no acceptable reset issue, IMO. But this is one I'm not aware of, so I'd need a bunch more information. What carrier do you use? What version of Chatter? POP3 or IMAP? Can you make me a log (instructions in the FAQ at www.chatteremail.com)?

I've never had this problem. Are you using a beta?

Also, even though I'm sure Marc will find this, there is a Chatter specific forum here.

    I use Ver 1.0.6.2[88:40] Jun 9 2005@21:30:50(c) 2004/5 Marc Blank

    I use POP3.

For logging, I understand to do "log" in console, then stuff, then "log", then "bug" to send it. But somewhere in there is a crash. Does that matter?

Could you try using the latest Beta or, at the very least, the latest stable version (1.0.6.4). There have been lots of POP3 improvements since the version you have.

Okay I've upgraded to Beta. Thanks.

So far no resets with Beta when pressing (X) to delete a message.

    It's a good start!
