I just got mine a few days ago and it has helped tremendously with the volume issue. People can now hear me. I have a question. I noticed that if I dont use the phone and headset for a while, it seems to have turned off. I cannot answer phone calls anymore. I have to re-sync the two again. Does this headset or the 650 have a auto shut off after serveral hours of inactivity.

Rotate the ear loop, you'll uncover the slot where the plug goes.

As far as remaining connected, it doesn't. However, when a call comes in, it only takes 1 ring or maybe 1 1/2 before it re-pairs automatically and you can answer.
