Yes, that will work but I noticed that it is a little slow when you do that. It's easier to save to the phone then transfer later to the card.

Mine is an unbranded GSM and has no SD card selection at the top right but does have a selection at the bottom right for all directories in the phone and on the SD card. Once a directory is selected all pictures will be saved there, at least until a reset at which time it reverts back to treo internal memory. Not sure if the same applies to those of you that can select the SD card at the top right. Fortunately I rarely have resets.

The SD card selection option is in the Media app, not the Camera app.

My reason for trying to set a default somewhere is My Boss, He's EXTREMLY None technical Minded.. He can use snapper mail with no problem & Docs to go But educating Him on switching between internal & SD card has been frustrating and He insists on retaining every picture that he takes on the Treo (ARGh) which means his available memory is quickly being used up I Cant even install Volumecare on His phone at this point.....

Once again, the answer was given. But be sure he knows that after selecting the card, any reset and it will revert back to it's default setting.

As you get more pictures into you SD Card (that is, the SD Card starts to fill up), it gets slower.

Selecting the SD card in the media app does not make it the default for the camera app. Also, after a reset the SD card selection in the media app is retained but lost in the camera app.

You contradict yourself. You meant to say, "Selecting the SD card in the media app DOES make it the default for the camera app, but after a reset the SD card selection in the media app is retained but lost in the camera app." The latter point has already been mentioned in this thread.

I believe I've seen such app somewhere in google but I just can't find it anymore.
And the latest firmware did't fix this! It's so annoying to set the camera to SD card everytime we have to do a soft reset (which btw happends more than we would like it to)
