I get this error every time I'm trying to sync.
I'm unable to sync my memos for some reason...

Error: "Could not find a Palm Desktop data file. After closing this message box you will need to open the Palm Desktop application then close it again before re-running the syncronization."

I do that, and then sync, and get the same flippin error... still no memos are syncing..

    Anyone seen/heard of this prob?

Are you able to view Memos within the Palm Desktop?

Right click on the HotSync Manager icon in your program tray and choose Custom. Which conduit are you syncing, Memos or Memo Pad?
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

you are missing your journal.nsf file in you Lotus Notes data directory. Then point your conduit to the nsf file and you are all set.

Double click on the hotsync manager on your task bar and select custom. Then select handheld overwrites desktop for your memo conduit. See if that restores your memo DB on the desktop and then resync to make sure the db's are syncing properly...
