I just got a Bluetooth headset (yes I know I'm late) and this has caused me to start playing with Bluetooth. I noticed that the Bluetooth Icon at the top right has a different behavior in 2Day vs. TAKEphONE.

2Day: press the Icon and it enters the Bluetooth app and toggles the on/off state. Then pressing the "Done" at the bottom returns you to 2Day.

TAKEphONE: press the Icon and it enters the Bluetooth app and the on/off state is not altered. Then pressing the "Done" button takes you to the "prefs" app screen.

I'd have to say that I like the 2Day behavior better and I'd really like to see TAKEphONE do the same thing. Is that possible?? Even better would be the option to press the Icon and toggle the on/off state, but never leave the current app (2Day or TAKEphONE).

    NOTE: I am on a Treo 650.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    You are right.

I will match TAKEphONE behaviour with 2day's.

Currently I have to go to the prefs app to toggle BT, but I'll have it get back.

    Thanks.

Thanks. That will be great. My goal is just to make it as easy as possible to toggle bluetooth when I am in the car or on the move.

With that in mind, it is often tricky to get my thumb to press that tiny bluetooth icon. Would it be possible to add a menu command (Menu-B) that did the same thing as hitting the Bluetooth icon? (Obviously I would love to see both apps do it the same way.)

    Thanks much!!!

    Hi,

    You have menu-B in 2day.
In TAKEphONE - that shortcut is taken...

Wow!! Menu-B in 2Day is awesome! It not only toggles the bluetooth state, but it automatically exits the bluetooth app and returns to 2Day. Sorry I didn't find that. That is exactly what I want.

Can you please make a menu-<something> that does the same thing in TAKEphONE? And just so I don't have to train my feeble mind to do anything too complex, can you make the same menu-<something> work in 2Day as well. Even though it will overlap with 2Day's menu-B.

    Thanks Shimon!
