Has anyone of you tried this software :
    http://www.iscomplete.org/Store/WiFiGenie.asp

It looks very promising if you have a bluetooth enabled computer, however it doesn't want to work on my Treo (endless reset loop)...

Does it works on your Treo?

No but it does sound like something I'd be interested in and it did mention the Treo 600 so you might want to contact the developer.

Hum not really in fact, with Wifile Pro you can access the share only from this application. However with WifiGenie, you create a 'virtual SD card' that is the network share.

With that you are able to access the network share through other apps without copying the file you need on your SD Card.

You can for example read a movie file directly from your computer with TCPMP or browse through Word files on your company servers with Documents To Go.

Why do these products require WiFi or BT? Why can't they use any network connection (such as GPRS)?? (even if it would be slower..)

I think it will be far too slow... Netbios seems not to be a bandwidth efficient protocol.
However, with EDGE or a 3G access, it should be ok.

Anyway, did it work on you Treo 650?
