Here's a problem I can't seem to figure out a solution for. If I delete a program from the treo 650 (from the hard drive), it comes back when I hotsync. What's the deal? How can I get rid of the programs and prevent them from reinstalling when I hotsync?

Normally, this shouldn't happen. They're being restored from your Palm/<username>/Backup directory, probably because your Backup conduit is incorrectly set. In the short term, delete them from the backup directory as well as the Treo; in the long term, set the action of your Backup conduit correctly: "Handheld overwrites desktop".
