Now before anyone screams about the search function, I've already tried it.

I cant seem to get my shortcuts going with Short Cut 5. All i really use is the @DTS function with about 4 shortcuts. For some reason, when i plug it into Shortcut 5, it doesnt register. I have enabled SC5 with my memo pad, so it shouldn't be a problem, and i even disabled keycaps and tried it, to no avail.

does nayone havean idea on what i can do to recover this lost functionality from the treo 600?

You know, don't you, that any shortcut created with ShortCut5 can only be invoked if preceded by "." instead of "@"? Also, if you want to use the standard date-time stamp in a ShortCut5 shortcut, you create the shortcut using "@@ds @@ts".

do you mean when i set up the shortcut i put

.DTS Left Message rather than @DTS Left Message

Or do you mean that when in Memos, i put

    .(shortcut symbol)lm

What about creating a shortcut as

    @@ds @@ts Left Message

then when typing in memos i put

    (shortcut symbol)lm ?

I was all over the user guide and nothing seems to be working. All i want is the equivalent to the old @DTS shortcut and nothing more.

Thanks for any and all help you can provide

You need to look at the section on Macros (I believe it's chapter 6), but here's what you have to do in order to have the dts function available:

    1. Launch ShortCut5
    2. Tap New
    3. Name the shortcut dts
    4. Enter as the shortcut text the following: @@ds @@ts
    5. Tap OK

Now, open a memo and type .dts - got it?
