Does anyone know how to automate DTMF(dial tone) patterns during an active incoming calls? I get voicemail notifications from work and i required to interactive with the system by using dial tone when I recivied the call to retreive the voicemail. The hardest thing to do is pushing the tiny keyboard on the Treo 650 and I often make a few mistakes before I can get to my voicemail. I have tried invoke the dialpad screen back and Paste the password string and Dial. Instead, I was presented with an screen to dial another number. Does anyone know a software that would do that? Teletone? Takephone? or a build in solution?

I know I can dial back to the system using the extra string with pauses(,,,) to automate the retrives. But I want to do it when the system calls me when there is new voicemail in the system.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You should be able to do it with TAKEphONE - it will ask you if you want to start a new call, or dial the number as DTMF.

Takephone..I download the trial, and it works great. It does the DTMF tones.
    I have a few suggestions:
Could you have the next relase to show the "duration timer" during the active call on top of the screen as well?

Maybe is me don't know how to use the application more effectively yet, it takes me 40 seconds to push in all the inputs within TakePhone 650.

Here is the sceniaro: I get a call--I push the center key to answer-->push the phone button to get me to Takephone screen, find my saved redial password for the voicemail-then go back to the dial pad screen to punch in more numbers to get the voicemail.

Am I missing something? Is there a shortcut to all these? Thanks.

    Hi,

Why not make the redial a favourite ?
    Then -

    I get a call--
push the center key to answer-->
push the phone button to get me to Takephone screen,
press & hold hotkey for redial password.
press & hold PHONE to go to dialpad.

I am using the above scenario to answer my voice mail forwarding, but I found the takephone dial pad will not send the tones after using the hotkey. After I listen to a voice mail I need to save, or delete by dialing 4, or 6 #. I have to dial 6# then push "dial" for it to send the DTMF tones. It is still better than the old way of manually entering my 5 digit password, #,then 3 to listen.

    Hi,

After the hotkey - press & HOLD the PHONE button to go to the BUILT_IN dialpad.
