On Treo 600's Calendar, under the Options tab, I cannot find 'Beam Category'. Is there a way to beam the entire Calendar to Treo 650's Datebk5? Would appreciate any help I can get, thank you.

Why not beam DateBk5 to the 600 and then beam all categories with that?

Do you mean to beam the empty Datebk5 from the 650 to the 600? Would all the Calendar entries in the 600 automatically be added on? The next step would be to beam the Datebk5 back to the 650, right?

Sorry to sound dumb and confused, but I want to be extra careful and don't want to lose any data ...

    Thanks again.

Yes, that's what I mean. DB5 just reads the Calendar (or Datebook) database; just use its Category beaming facility.

Thanks, Bill for your reply. I successfully installed Datebk5 onto the 650. However, when I tried to use "beam category" to beam all the calendar entries to the 650, the first time it seemed to be beaming, and the 650 asked if I wanted to accept Datebk5. I clicked "yes", but then none of the data was received! When I opened Datebk5 on the 650, it had no entries. I then made sure that on the 600, under "security", it is on "show records". Then the next time I tried to beam again under "beam category", the Treo 600 said "There is no data to send or the data is marked private."

Pimlico software who makes Datebk5 said I should try using Filez to beam the Calendar files over. Do you think that will work?

The most puzzling thing is why the 600 cannot beam the entire Datebk5 over to the 650. Surely this has been done by a lot of people before, no?
