Anyone have a fix for this problem other than hold down the Red/Green keys and opt to delete all current data/programs? This has happened once before but I can't recall if I was able to successfully repair it and keep all my data.

    Thanks in advance

try a warm reset and delete the offending program

Try a warm reset; if you have an idea which app might have caused this problem, delete it and then follow with a soft reset. If this doesn't do the trick, you may have to follow through with the hard reset.
