    Hi there,
I simple question but I need to ask.
I have a Treo 650 and have GPRS model (UK)
When I want ot get e-mails I do a per normal and it fires up the gprs connection to get my emails. After this the signal bar has a slight GREEN on it to (I presume) to tell me it is gprs. I normally go to the drop down menu and DISCONNECT.
Should I have it on gprs all the time? Or is it best to activate it only when needed? What do you guys and galls do?
    Thanks

I leave mine on. As long as it is not actively transfering data (ie downloading something), then I am still able to receive calls. If you're in a weak signal area, however, I recommend disconnecting as it can adversely affect battery life.

    YMMV,
