I updated to Cingular 1.15 and everything is fine except that my phone goes completely mute when trying to make or receive a call. If I plug in headphones or headset, sometimes I can listen to the call. If during the call I remove the headset, I can then listen through the handset. The same happens also the other way around? This didn't happen at all, before the upadte. Been searching the internet and someone reported a sinilar problem: http://www.palmforums.org/forums/sho...2639#post12639

Anyone with a similiar problem? Anyone with an answer to it?

Have you eliminated the possibility of a 3rd party software conflict? Perform a hard reset and test your phone before you restore anything via HotSync.
    V > Vx > m505 > m515 > T/T > T3 > TC > 650 > 680

You might have a faulty headset jack. Does the speaker button show on the screen when this happens? If not, then the Treo thinks you have a headset plugged in and diverts the sound to the headset. Plug in a headset and gently wiggle the jack.

I performed a hard reset and erased all the data and programs. The problem still persisted. Since I bought my treo four months ago, Cingular is replacing my device.

Yes the speaker shows. We discarded that with Cingular Wireless CS. After like 3 hours on the phone performing different tests. They even reset my device over the air and didn't work.

Beware of that update!!! I will try to report it to Palm.
