found a way to voice dial with bluetooth (while in car) using Sprint voice dial service...
just dial *dial on car's dashboard keypad...then when prompted, one can voice announce telephone number (or pre-set numbers such as "home", "office" etc) to call....
    not totally handsfree but almost!

You also have to pay $60/yr for that solution....if it's worth it to you, cograts on your find!

How about programing the side button to launch VoiceDial, then speaking loud enough to reach the mic and the call gets transfered to the Bt headset. Two button pushes at the most: 1. Power button, then 2. Side button.
-->BtDUN pre- and post- SprintPCS update 1.12 paired to PC and PPC.

    Or, you can install VoiceLauncher

and initiate the call to * (Sprint VoiceCommand) from your bluetooth headset button. The advantage of this is it will work anywhere, not just in the car.
