Does anyone know if there's a music player that plays the iTunes format of music? I don't want to start converting songs to another format to play on the Treo.

Also, does anyone know if the volume/sound quality was improved on the 650 vs. the 600?

itunes will allow you to format in aac or mp3.
    ptunes will play mp3s.

music purchased at the itunes music store is in aac, which will play on aeroplayer.
get hymn to massage the drm and you are good to go.

aeroplayer has an aac plugin. I only use the mpg / ogg plugin's so I can't say how well it works. the aerodrome site explains that there is an extra step involved in removing the DRM from itunes encoded files to play in aeroplayer:
