I could really use with some help on this one.

Is there a way to install or reinstall just one piece of software that came with the Treo 650. I bought my 650 locked from Cingular, called and got the unlock code, unlocked it and took it with me to Barbados.

Since being here i have used the phone on the Digicel network by having to go to select network and then choosing the 900 bnad option. I brought them the phone last week and got it setup to online, which worked fine.

My problem is since doing the Cingular install this week i have not been able to use the Blazer web browser at all. I can log on without a problem, check email and use Mundu (which i installed and have since uninstalled to see if that was the problem). What i cannot do is when i launch Blazer it just says sending and i can wait forever but nothing ever loads. It doesnt come back with an error, which i find strange.

What my mind is telling me is that i should be able to do a reinstall of Blazer to see if that works. I tried copying it to the SD card and run it from there to no avail.

Does anyone out there know of a possible way to fix this. I need the browser on this pretty urgently as i am on the road on this island quite often.

    I would appreciate any help.

Have you ever been able to use data service on the island? You may just have phone service there and no data service. . . . .

If that was the case he wouldn't be able to use mail or chat I think?

Try deleting some blazer prefrence files or something?

Yes i do have data service here, and ive tried deleting all the blazer pref files but still no liuck. I think a hard reset would reinstall the blazer software although i am sure there has to be another way.

Perhaps the provider there is blocking port 80. Install Mergic Ping and try to ping www.google.com or www.yahoo.com. If you can't, then it's not a Blazer problem.

Hmm that could be a problem, but i must say that the day i took the phone to them we tested it and it worked fine, i was able to get on to google, and later JR electronics site in NY to cancel an order i placed, so i will see if that works, right now i cant download till i get to a secure location, being blocked by a firewall at work. Hence the need to go on with the palm to do certain things while im here.

I will try that later this evening and see what results i get. I'll post them here.

Thanks for the help so far.

Ok so this is definately a blazer issue. I downloaded the Xino prc file on my laptop and installed. I am now writing this post from my Treo, so what gives? Anyone with any ideas or if you can somehow up the Blazer file up so I can try to install it that would be great.

    Thanks
