If anyone who is better at this than I am could take suggestions it would be great if we could have a plugin to allow us to see college and NFL football schedules in 2day. That would be a great plugin and one I would be willing to pay for.

    Hi,

Where can I get the databases for this ?

I will forward this to CSivil, who wrote some plugins for 2day by now...

    Thanks !

I'd like a standalone app with all Division I college schedules, sortable by conference and Top 25. It would get pretty cluttered as a plugin to 2Day, but something like 4cast where you can access the entire app and show a little data on 2day, but with 130 or so teams, thats a lot to put in 2Day.

I'll look around...there used to be a palm app that had this info.

If we could get something that updated (via hotsync would probably be faster with the amount of data) that got the matchups, television listings, and showed in our timezone, I'd probably pay $5 or so for it.

But I've got my school's games already in Outlook, so it's not a necessity for me. But I would like to have the rest of the day's matchups at my fingertips if I wanted them.

    Something like this would be good also. I have my team listed in Outlook as well But a lot of the times and stations are still TBDTBDTBD'$d$. $I$ $don$'$t$ $want$ $to$ $have$ $to$ $continually$ $watch$ $for$ $it$ $to$ $be$ $updated$ $and$ $then$ $manually$ $update$ $it$ $in$ $Outlook$. $A$ $small$ $App$ $that$ $did$ $this$ $for$ $me$ $would$ $be$ $really$ $nice$.

    Hi all,

Afraid I dont have much time (and no data sources) to implement this myself, but - the API (developer's interface) for 2day is REAL simple, and I will support (and publish) any work by anyone.

Any chance of doing a Division I College football plugin?
  13. #13
It would be pretty easy to make the plugin. Its all the team schedules that would be time consuming. I guess I could do them by request. Which team are you interested in?

I'm interested in Texas A&M specifically, but as I'm a fan of college football as a whole, an app that would allow me to show teams by conference, top 25, or game time would be great.

Ideally, I'd like to have all Division I teams, but understand the work to get the database. I'll see what I can find.

These are good sites for schedules and tv listings

    Thanks.

I would second what pablo said. I would love it if I could see certain big 10 teams. As far as the databases go is there a way we could build these ourselves?

Free Schedules for NFL, College Football, & more (for use with Microsoft Outlook).

You can then easily sync to your PDA:

I use Texas A&M in Outlook, because I always care about those games.

But there's no way I'd want every single (or even other teams) in Outlook, because I may or may not care about them, but want the database available to me for unique situations.

A 3rd party app would be the only way I'd want the entire Division I schedule...much like Sivil has done with the NFL app.

After Im done with the NFL app, I'll take a look at college.

    Great. Thanks.

Looks sweet Sivil (especially using the Patriots in the screenshot). Two questions for you:
    1. I have a low res device, will it matter?
    2. I didn't see a field for game-time. Is it there if click on a listing? If not, I recommend you consider adding game time.
