I have a treo splash screen that has embedded itself in my treo and I can't find it. I should have the cingular splash, but I have a treo splash that says welcome and farewell. I don't know what I installed or did to make this happen but I don't know what to look for in Filez to get rid of it. I have skinner but this splash isn't offered by them. Whassup?

The splash screens are embedded in the Phone application. If you've installed one of the custom versions that add call durations to the call log or enable the Network Select menu, there's your culprit.

Thanks for the reply. What would the filename look like? .exe, .prc, etc. That way I can delete it.

Phone.prc or Phone_enUS.prc are two variants that I know of. Should be pretty obvious as the only Phone*.prc in RAM.

Sounds like you did the Cingular update, which changes it.
