Anyone else screen dim on hot days? This has happened to me twice. I want to know so if its not intentional I can return it.

Yes. It dims if the Treo gets hot...even through normal usage.

By design the Treo dims the screen when the internal temperature gets too high. This happens most when using the Treo while it is charging, but can happen if the Treo is in a hot car or room and has been running a while.

If you are in the middle of something and don't wish to turn the Treo off and wait for it to cool down on its own, you can remove the battery cover for a while. This tends to help with cool down. Another option is to swap the battery. Putting in a charged (but cool) battery can help.

But be warned... Your Treo is trying to tell you that it is running too hot and needs time to cool off.
