I've never lost one. How'd you lose yours?

Now that I have the Ultra II 2 g, its scary to think I could possibly lose it. When I first got my 650, I dropped it on carpet and the card popped right out. Other then that, it has stayed in.

Used to be a program that I used on the 600 called card keeper, when your sdcard was removed it would cause your phone to start alarming and vibrating letting you know that the card is gone.

Almost lost my SD card a few times but a program called Card Keeper alerted me when the card was accidentally ejected. A must have software.

I've always used a form-fit case that has a flap the closes over the top. Right now I use a Codi, but the Covertec, Bellagio and several other form-fits have the same idea. For the ultimate protection (to the point of being a real pain), you can use the Krusell. You have to unzip and remove the entire case, which fits very snugly, to remove the SD card.

As many times as the SD card has tried to come out, I'm not brave enough to use any type of case that leaves the card exposed.

You guys forgot to mention it's free on Handango. Just downloaded but haven't installed it yet. Thanks to all for the idea.

Happened to me with a 2GB Ultra II before I knew this was a common problem. Guessing it got swept up with the rest of whatever was on the floor of the bar the next day.

cardkeepers audio alert doesn't seem to work for me.. guess I'll give palmpuke a try...
The only time I ever made a mistake was when i thought I did and was mistaken.

I personally like NotifyMe better than PalmPuke.

I use both CardKeeper (mainly for the vibrating function) and NotifyMe for the unique sounds that are played immediately.
