I like using Quicknews with mmplayer to stream podcasts. You can susbscribe to podcast feeds with Quicknews and then stream the podcasts (if you have mmplayer)from within the Quicknews program. It works out great.

I can run all of our company's AS400 from my Treo. This allows me to support my customers from anywhere, and had cut the cord to the office. Thank you Treo.

How are you using the 3270 emulator over the data connection? Or are you using SSH? I've got a good friend that's a mainframe monkey and would love to know more about this.

I use it for many of the things decribed above.

I log into my Vonage (Voice over IP phone service) to change my forwarding preference.

I log into my Netflix.com account to manager my movie queue.

I use ipedia (palm app with free limited use) and http://mobile.answers.com to get the answers that I need on the go.

Not sure why it would't just be easier to call them 99%of the time though.
We have a killer Italian Deli in town but the line is out the door at lunch time. They don't take phone orders - you have to fax your order in. I whip up a quick email - send it with eFax - and pick up my order.

You must be referring to Bay Cities! I love that place, but the lines are insane. I have a craving for a Godmother sandwich.

Anyway, when browsing in a store I can look up a price to see if an item is ridiculously cheaper online and decide if it's worth it to buy then or wait for delivery and save $$$.

Has anyone tried slingbox from sling media with their laptop using DUN with their Treo? I have seen a good stream with 90kbps however, my connection isn't very stable. They are suppose to have cellphone and pda client in the future.

It works great over wlan and is very cool.

How do you do this? I've tried, but get Java errors, although I have javascript enabled. I would love this feature.
