I'm going to be living "on the road" for a few months and would really like to use my Treo as a modem for my laptop, which has no built-in bluetooth. I have an Ambicom PCMCIA card which I've never been able to get to work for DUN.

I've successfully proven DUN with my PC and a Bluetooth dongle, but I'd rather use a PCMCIA card that is safely tucked away (for the most part) inside the body of the laptop than a USB dongle that's sticking out the back begging to get broken off.

    Any success stories?

For $50, go get two of them at Wal-Mart. If one breaks, you have a spare.

I used to live in Gainesville. . .

    Good luck!
