Get a custom ROM. Search the forums and you'll find the info you seek.

The quick answer is... you can't. It's installed in the Treo's ROM along with Versamail and the other apps that come with the Treo. If you don't use it and you don't want to see it anymore you can use a freeware program called obfuscate which can make ROM applications invisible.

If you really want to get into it, you can make a custom ROM like jmill suggested, but that takes a fair amount of technical knowledge for very little (IMHO) gain. Removing RealPlayer from ROM won't give you any additional RAM (because it's not taking up RAM to begin with), but it would free up some space in your ROM, so if you wanted to you could move another application to ROM and free up the RAM that it takes.

Making a custom ROM is not all that hard, and if you also remove the extra language files, there are 5 on the US/Europe/C-S.Amer models, you can realize a 4 MB gain in your system memory.
