I just switched from Nextel to Verizon with a Treo650. I also ordered the Palm BT headset.

I am a little confused about the ability to voice dial using my BT headset. I have searched the posts but still am not clear on whether this is supported or not.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I do not believe so, the reason is that palm linked the bluetooth to only work with the phone side of the treo. from what I understand, there isn't anyway to crossover without palm rewriting the entire base coding of the 650.

You can't initiate voicedailing from your bluetooth headset, it has to be initiated from the phone itself using the phone's microphone and not the headset mic

    1. Launch voicedialing software on the phone manually
    2. Speak into the phone's microphone, Call "XYZ"
    3. Phone starts ringing and it auto-transfers to the headset
