    THANKS A LOT, GUYS!!!

RIDER QUESTION (If Congress can do it, why can't I?) - Does VFSBackup backup everything??? It seems to 'cause a couple resets, but it looked like everything was saved to me, except for "Pics & Vids"...but I don't think the Resco Explorer backup saved those either. Does Backupman/buddy backup pics & vids as well??

P.S. - Any advice for applications is gladly accepted.

    'PRECIATE IT!!

    -Peace out!

You can't install apps in ROM without making a custom ROM. There are instructions at www.shadowmite.com.
Generally, apps that must sync with your PC or control specific functions on the PDA/phone do better in RAM. Everything else can be moved to your SD card. Utilites like PowerRun and Zlauncher will do that for you and create a shortcut to the app's new location.

First app should be PowerRun. Use that to distribute apps to your SD card.

Yes, I have every intention of making a custom rom, but I was trying to get a better idea of which programs should or should not go in the ROM & SD card.
Can anybody give me some pointers?? A good starting point would be the WIKI section on mytreo.net: http://mytreo.net/treofaq/Treo650ROMFaq...but the only problem is that the wiki on that site isn't really good. I'm still hoping that TreoCentral would either start their own wiki or just link to the mtdn wiki.

    Anyway...my 2 questions are:
    (1) Do I really need to use powerrun or a launcher?? I can use the programs by just placing them in the /PALM/Launcher/ directory, correct?? Or do you need them to categorize the programs??
    (2) What apps listed above should go where?? The apps on mtdn really aren't related to mine....so, yea.
