I was reading the manual for the treo 650 wireless headset, and it stated that you could turn it off if you hold the multifunction button for 3-5 seconds. My problem is when I did this I received a call later and it still went directly to the headset. Does anyone know if it actually gets cut off or are you forced to deactivate bluetooth on the phone?

You need to hold it for more like 6-8 seconds until it flashes quickly and then stops flashing. Sounds like you didn't hold it long enough (not surprisingly, since the manual is definitely off on this one)

Just like when turning it on, you should see five'ish quick flashes, and hear an audible noise. Then you know it's off.
