    On other phones you can see a readout of your location (the cell tower), and my provider here even shows an (E) next to the location name to show that Edge is supported by that cell.

    Does the Treo have the capability to show cell location?

    I would also be interested knowing more about this.
    The only thing i know is that you can display the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) and EC/LO (???) when you type #*744625 or #*SIGNAL in the phone app.
    That gives you two numeric values. Maybe EC/LO is the cell-ID ?

    I recall reading that Sprint had released teh LBS api in the java toolkit. Thus it may be accessible via the java plugin...
