    Recently, when performing a hotsync, my T650 resets itself, sometimes mid-sync, sometimes seemingly immediately following the hotsync. I had hoped the newest firmware update would fix the problems, but unfortunately, there has been no change.

    The message is this:

    "A reset was caused on 6/20/05 at 3:45 pm while running "Hotsync";

    PIMsDataMgr.c, Line: 135, check RecordChunk means chunk is null....."

    The device is an unbranded T650, originally locked to Cingular purchased directly from PalmONe, and later unlocked (tested and confirmed successful).

    If anyone has any ideas and/or suggestions on how I might fix this, I would be grateful.

    Hi ,my T650 resets itself, and find error log is
    PIMsDataMgr.c, Line: 135, check RecordChunk means chunk is null....."

    my treo650 is unlock GSM version , and I think 650 have some bug , when Radio signal is low , my 650 usually "no response"

    I have heard that Hotsync can be unreliable if the phone is turned on, might try turning it off first.

    Did you ever solve your problem?

    This same error recently started happening on my Treo 650 unlocked. It was working fine but now resets during HotSync and during BackupMan with the same chunk is null error.
