I recently bought a Seidio Shield Holster but am very disappointed. Three times in the first two days the clip caught on something and my Treo flipped out and hit the ground! This never happened once in 1.5 years of wearing a Blackberry holster. I've stopped using the Seido.

The problem is the design, which doesn't hold the Treo in place on all four sides - just top and bottom. Yes, it's easier to get in and out, but.....

Another problem is that I find it hard to feel the Treo vibrate. I suspect that's due to the rotating holster design, which requires more clearance from the body.

So..... If any of you can recommend a good holster that address the two problems above, please let me know.

    Thanks

Seidio offers two types of holster, one is the shield type which you have and the other is the clip type.

The shield type is designed to allow you to take your Treo in and out easily and also keep Treo secure while it is the holster. When the clip is pushed it will release Treo from the holster by design.

Based on your application, we recommend the clip type as the release clip is located at the bottom. The chance to push the clip by accident will not be great.

Thanks for the replies. Both of the alternatives suggested look like they could have the same problem (too easy for something to knock the Treo free). To be fair, it is hard to be sure from the pictures.

If any of you have relevant experience, please chime in.

This alternative does look interesting: http://www.treocentral.com/content/Stories/613-1.htm
