Not sure where to post this. One of my setups is Sprint 600>Chattermail>pgmail pop forwarding to fastmail.

I recently went overlimit in my fm account, deleted the mail bloat from fm BUT gmail kept returning the error "
There is a problem with this email address. Mail is not being forwarded successfully"

I run Schmindows and tried to reset the pop forwarding settings many times in Internet Explorer but no joy.

I found the following in a gmail forum:

(these are the exact steps I followed, so feel free to augment as you
see fit):

1) Download and launch Mozilla FireFox (http://www.mozilla.org/)
2) Open your Gmail inbox (https://gmail.google.com/gmail)
3) In FireFox go to Settings-->Forwarding and POP and click on "Try
again"
4) If the "Save Changes" button activates, click it, otherwise YOU'RE
DONE.

Forwarding will now work for a PREVIOUSLY blacklisted address. If it
breaks again, just repeat the steps. Not a GREAT solution, but it will
restore Forwarding until Gmail figures out how to fix it themselves.
