Post the lowest price you have found for the ULTRA II (not regular) 2GB SD card. Only post another source if lower than other posts or lowest in stock.

$172.95 (unfortunately not in stock at the moment)

It doesn't matter how much it costs if there are none available.

How about posting who has them in stock.

    i spoke with http://www.compushaq.com/product_inf...ucts_id=655601
they said they are expecting about 100 on the 13th.

but i'm trying to find one sooner! ;-)

Re: Compushaq. Ordinarilly, I'd go with them, but I spoke with one of the people last week as well. They have over 100 of them on backorder already. I'll wait 'til the 13th and see what happens. I'd hate to order one now and have to wait a few more weeks after the 13th...

I ordered one from Compushaq. It was shipped Monday (probably the last one they had in stock). Weird part is, looking at FEDEX tracking data it says the package weighs 5.1 LBS! Maybe I got all 100 of them for $182.00.

Edit: Doorbell rang just as I saved this message. Fedex with just 1 card in a small envelope from CompuShaq.

The Treo 650 can take a 2GB SD card? I thought I read somewhere 1 GB was max? Please let me know as I'll be picking one up for my soon-to-arrive Treo 650.

EDIT: typo......thanks for catching it. The mysterious Treo 540...

Actually the Treo 540 will take a 100GB card. The 650 will take 2GB max.

2GB cards work fine with the Treo 650. See this KnowledgeBase article.

Great, thanks... It's worth the extra bucks to me to get more use out of the Treo. 1GB of mp3s is *plenty* for how I would use them, which leaves another 1 GB free for everything else.

Great site. Gotta love the collective knowledge.

I'm going to wait until next month for the ATP 2GB card, which claims to be faster than Ultra. Hopefully it will drop prices for 2GB now that there will be competition. Any word if 4GB is a Treo hardware limitation or if it could be OS patchable?

This link is to a store called Erwin Computers. Their website currently says the item is in stock. However, when I called their phone number to confirm just now, a guy with broken English told me they don't actually have any in stock right now, as they are awaiting for a new shipment next week. Another disappointment!

Let me tell you, I'm at the point now where I don't believe anything anymore when a retailer says a product is in stock! It's a shame.
