I cannot connect to the server, either on the Treo650 or their web site

    http://xpressmailpe.cingular.com/

(7:30 AM on Friday June 3).

I'm wondering if it is just me getting locked out (it logs me in via cookies) or is the site down for all.

On a different (but maybe related) item:
Once or twice, my desktop re-director disconnects as well. It's not my PC (I have disabled all power-save features) because mostly it is fine for many days. Then, no connections to the desktop. When I go to the office next day, I'll find the redirector disconnected and have to reconnect to Cingular by typing the username/password for xpressmail into the redirector.

All this makes this unreliable for long-term absences from the office ...

Any idea how to debug the causes for the redirector to get disconnected?

(Maybe it does this when the main Cingular server flakes out ..)

    I also experienced same problem.
When I tried to sync my treo, it will give me error S7302 - can't connect to server.
I also can't connect to their website

I just verified that with Cingular Tech. Support.

I bet that's why my redirector was disconnected when I came to my office just now.

Bummer. I had to drive all the way in just to re-login my redirector.

Usually under most conditions it will attempt to log back in but employ a backoff strategy over time. They seemed to have fixed the problem from what my friends in low mobile places are telling me. :-)

Disconnections are subject to the Internet, local network, VPN, Firewalls, Proxy Servers and just about everything else out there.

It was down for me too since yesterday, but came back up earlier today.
It's been pretty reliable until this incident though.
You can always reach Cingular Data Tech support at 800-304-3044
    to report a problem.
