I'm a newbie to the world of internet access on a Palm OS device (although this is my 4th). I'm guessing that now that I'm no longer in my own little world anymore, I'm vulnerable to attacks.

What can anyone recommend for Antivirus and is there a need for any kind of firewall or anything like that?

    TIA!

No need for either on the Treo 650, unless you're just not using common sense on what you install. I don't know of any exploitable issues with the PalmOS5 TCP/IP stack. I also don't believe the Treo 650 will have any listening daemons so a firewall should not be necessary unless you are running a listening application.

I wouldn't worry about it, and the Antivirus is a joke.

no need yet of antivirus or firewall for palm as you need for your PC.

ask again in 2 or 3 years. :-)
