    He's got 3 new ROMs for the GSM 650. Go check his website. I wonder what the changes are..

    I've done searches for edited ROMs for the treo 600. Do they exist? If not, is it a technical issue or is it just that no one ever bothered?

    Thanks,
    Dana

    Don't think they've ever bothered.
    Palm III -> Palm Vx -> Clie T615c -> Clie T665c -> Tungsten T|3 -> Treo 650 -> Trew 700W (for a few days) -> XV6700 -> Moto Q

    Ok, from shadowmite on his forum (from this March).

    Currently there is no method of getting custom roms on the 600 as the structure is just, well, downright wacky. We haven't yet figured out what goes where and when. Some of it is compressed, some of it is not.
    Looks like the 600 is just grusome in that regard ... Oh well ...

    I was actually referring to this thread...

    If I'm not mistaken, the first step to creating Custom ROMs is decrypting the ROM files.

    So my timing's really good . Just this week they're about to get it to work! Patience has its rewards, I'll follow the thread to see how it ends up. Thanks for the link!
