Somehow, a conduit called "PocketPurchase" got added to my list of sync objects. I could not sync without it crashing everytime, going into a soft reset. I eventually narrowed the problem down to PocketPurchase and sought to delete that conduit. Not so easy. You have to go through tons of hoops to get rid of it, including dos commands. Blah. Simply rude. Is this the start of quasi-spamming on the treo?

If anyone know anything about "PocketPurchase" and where I got it, let me know.

If I am not mistaken, it is included with BlueNomad (and a few others as well) Products. I am the registered user of both BBVFS and WordSmith. The website tells you how to get rid of it without getting rid of the software it came with...

    Check it out here:

When it came out, many were upset as they included it without explaining enough about it. It is thought to be spyware although BlueNomad denies that. They certainly don't need to utilize licensing software such as PocketPurchase, but have decided it was the way they wanted to go...

A pain to constantly have to get rid of it manually, but I beleive now they offer the option of not installing it. I hate this kind of pseudo-surreptitious software installation junk, but as they say, "buyer beware"
