So yeah, I know people have had problems with their TWH, and myself am no exception. My 30 day money back garauntee is almost over, but I will be getting a replacement unit so hopefully that one will work out better. The problem with this one (other than the echo thingie) is that sometimes my headset will not ring at all and the the headset is right next to my handset. Nor is the ringtone or whatever being transferred to my headset. I know some people are not having that, but some people are having their ringtone in their headset.

Now I don't know which one to get also. Meaning I want to try another brand.

I have loved Jabra but my BT200 is definately not it, and this mock BT330 may not be it either.

I have thought about the following:

    1. Cardo Scala - 500 (http://www.cardowireless.com/scala500/)
    2. HS850 black (my friend in Toronto says it works great, while others say nay) (http://store.treocentral.com/content.../9-32--148.htm)
    3. Plantronics M2500 (I miss the in ear function like the BT200) (http://www.plantronics.com/canada/en...36/prod5230004)
    4. SE HBH-662 (http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=global&lc=en&ver=4001&template=pp4_1_1&zone=pp&lm=pp4_1&pid=10251) (or the 660 (http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?...p4_1&pid=10188), but i think i will go with the HBH-662 as it is 1.2 so any other handsets I get it should work fine with) (dont care about not showing the name, the number is a plus as it is)
    5. SE HBH-300. Although a long mic, it looks very well built and such (http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?...p4_1&pid=10189)
    6. Nokia HS-4W (http://www.nokiamena.com/english/pho...boom/index.htm)

So yeah thats my condundrum I really appreciate all your help guys. And I'm sorry for a thread like this

EDIT: Oh yeah as you can see from my terrorist ID photo there I wear glasses. Also as for the modification with the Jabra Ear Gels...all I can find is medium and well it feels weird compared to the ones with the BT200, plus I really don't know how to put them on, so negate that option. (ie make your decision considering that no modification will be done to the headset)

How about the Logitech Mobile Freedom? I'm reading the reviews on it on CNET right now. One question about this one that I can't find an answer to is whether or not you can answer a call waiting call with it or do you have to use the handset (treo 650) to switch over to the 2nd call?

I've also been looking for a direct comparison between the TWH and this Logitech Mobile Freedom.

I had the Logitech Mobile Freedom for one day. Yep, one day and then it went back. Issues - not at all comfy. Tore the ears up after a bit over an hour. Second issue - likes to turn itself off after an hour or so of no activity. It would sometimes come on when turned on, but twice it had to be paired. Third issue - the length of time to connect - up to two seconds. I went back to the Motorola HS820 and it connects immediately.

    It handled the wind ok.

    Bclinger -

I rarely wear the TWH for more than 10 minutes at a time for calls. As I wear glasses, the hook over my ear is a bit of a pain. You mentioned that the LMF hurt your ears after an hour - what I am looking for is an alternative to the "over the ear" setup of most BT headsets. If I am wearing the LMF for 10 min's max would I still have the discomfort issue? And what was specifically uncomortable (pain inside the ear, around the back, etc)? Lastly, was the noise cancellation as good as mktd?

Much appreciated...I want to make the right decision b4 I decide to change to the LMF from the TWH.
