    Hi,

    Quick question...

Today I just got my new treo 650 from Cingular. Can't wait to really mess with it, but one thing I've already noticed is that when I insert an sd card, it ends up sticking out about 1/8th an inch. I've tried 3 different cards (sandisk, kingston, pny), and the same thing keeps happening. I've also played around with my buddy's 650 and did not notice this problem. When I insert the flush palmone sd cut-out, it does not stick out, but regular cards do. I know this was a problem with the 600, but thought it was fixed with the 650's deeper groove. Anyways, I'm wondering if this might mean there is some kind of defect with my phone, and if I shoud send it back. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jon

Yep, filed my Sandisk Ultra II down with a finger nail file here at work. No problems.

My noname SD card sticks out of its slot a little. Definitely less than an 1/8", more like 1/32". Its has never been a problem on my Treo 650.

Once you find a case for it then it probably won't be a problem (provided it covers the sd card slot).
