Does anyone have "excellent" results using an external antenna? I travel frequently and end up in areas with diminished or no service available.

I am using a Treo 650 on the Sprint network.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I don't yet owna 650, but I've worked with wireless communications for much of my career. I live in a rural area with marginal service and I get very good results using an external antenna. I get excellent results using an external antenna and a bi-directional amplifier.

I have had excellent results using an external antenna with my Treo 650. Check out my other posts on this topic. www.wpsantennas.com provides a ranges of options along with the adapter cable for the 650.

You misspelled it. It resolves to this address: wpsantennas.com
    HS visor Deluxe (Blue) & Palm IIIx ► HS visor Prism & visorPhone ►P1 T|T & SE T68i ► Tapwave Zodiac2 & P1 Treo 650 GSM ►Treo 680 unlocked ► Sprint Pre(-)►TouchPad & Sprint FrankenPre2 VZW

I will leave Palm/webOS only after kicking, screaming and wrecking anything on my way out.
