I love this program but want to be able to hide more than just rom based apps. does anyone know of anything. The devoloper says they are working on it but they wont return any of my emails.

I am not sure what you are trying to do, I have been looking for an app like this, it is great as is.

Umm.. why not just put everything you don't want to show up in the Unfiled category? The Home button never shows that category when you use it to flip through them.

because you can still see them under all, this app is the next best thing to custom rom

try "invisible." it'll hide any app, not just rom based ones. it's not free but it's cheap. works after a soft reset too so it's completely seamless to the user once you pick the apps to hide.

I like free better, to hind non ROM based applications use attributes in filez or resco expolorer.

Is obfuscate supposed to work after a soft reset? It is not for me.

    Yes, it is.

BTW, for the posters before...in case you haven't found a free app to hide RAM apps, there's ChangeMe. Works like a charm.

It works for me. I hid GetGood and Welcome. They stay hidden after resets.

Did you install Obfuscate in RAM or SD card?

RAM. Looks hidden (bold) after reset but it's there in the apps view

Obfuscate does not work (is deactivated) after a warm reset. You may be in need of a hard reset and restore to solve this. Obfuscate isn't doing anything wrong, but it's an early symptom of deeper OS instability.
