I clicked on the attachment icon (key...click on the ICON) and chose select viewer. I then changed the viewer to Sounds. It then imported it to my ringers.

Just wondering, how did you get it out from your RAZR?

I did some searching to remember where I originally found the file. This should be an easier way to get it on your Treo.

    1. Point your Treo browser to: http://wap.mobile9.com/gallery/
    2. Enter WAP ID: 655
    3. Select Tyype: Ringtone
    4. Click "Get File"
    5. Save to your Treo's sounds

    Hope this helps!

Ah, finally figured it out! Great sound - another question....

when I assign this to favorite as a speed dial, the ringtone doesn't play. I even converted to amr file and it didn't play when assigned to speed dia. But it will play when assigned as known caller or unknown caller. Any recommendations on this?

Known 650 issue. Do a search and you'll find more explanation.

Well, I gave it a shot too, I wanted the beginning, so my voice on all your phones is a weird thought, but here it is. Enjoy.

Not bad. However, it sounds like the track lost some of it's fidelity (openness) in your mix.

That ATT Site was awesome. I got the Moto wav and made my own on the ATT site to suprise a friend on his 650. Can you Beam sounds from one phone to the next. I do not have any utilities that did not come standard on the phone. I will have access to his phone for a couple of minutes on Monday.

If you go into "Preferences" -> "Sound & Alerts" -> "Manage", from there you can Send the file via iR, BT, or VersaMail.

Share the wealth! Post your wonderful creation!

I got the wav file on the card, found it in the Blazer Download folder. I can't move it to RAM with Filez or zLauncher. SO then I tried this:
    1. Point your Treo browser to: http://wap.mobile9.com/gallery/
    2. Enter WAP ID: 655
    3. Select Tyype: Ringtone
    4. Click "Get File"
    5. Save to your Treo's sounds

It only give the choice of saving to pTunes or Card? I've already got it on my card and can't move it. Is there something I am missing in this thread?

So did you all use the wave file for your ringtones or convert it? I'm curious...If you used the wave file, how did you save it to your ringtones? (I asked this on another thread but maybe someone else here will know the answer.)

how did you convert? what is an amr file?

I suggested this about 13 hours ago, now there are about 5 versions! I'll have to wait til I get home to listen to them.

Do like I did and e-mail it to yourself. Versamail gave me the option of opening it via the "Sounds" tool.
