I thought I read somewhere in one of the threads that there is a patch or hack to get BT 1.2 on the T650. I've searched around, but can't find anything on it. Is this possible? If so, can someone point me in the right direction to find out more about this?

There is no solution to convert Treo 650 BT 1.1 to 1.2. Palm only licensed BT 1.1 for OS 5. As such, 650 does not have the stack for BT 1.2. The next Palm OS (Cobalt) is licensed for 1.2.

Here's what Shadowmite has to say "...The bluetooth chipset used in the 650 supports 1.2 in hardware, but the software that must be flashed to it was not purchased for it by palm. Thus they most likely will NEVER support it, and unless someone finds a copy of the software to flash to it, it will NEVER HAPPEN...."
