I am having an issue where my keyboard backlight won't come on until I reset the battery. does anyone have a solution for this?

In my case, I think its related to TCPMP. My keyboard light goes off after I've been watching movies for a while and doesn't reactivate till I reset the Treo. Anyone concur?

same here, i thought i might be conflicted with the keyshade hack so i removed that.. but i think it is with the new tcmp player.. i had no problems with the previous version of tcmp

I think there is a connection between the mp3 plugin and the keyboard issue. It seems whenever I soft reset the phone the mp3 plugin is deleted, but then my keyboard lights back up.

it's a bug in TCPMP. with that said, I've updated keyshades to work around it.

Keyshades is a perfect solution to this problem. I hadn't realised that the backlights on the keys were not coming on because of TCPMP, but have installed keysahdes and it works a treat. Thanks doomsey!

There is an updated version of TCPMP available that solves the keyboard light problem, too. It can be downloaded from mytreo.net.
